Day 82:

I really have to apologize for not writing sooner. I know how long it’s been so quit calling my parents and complaining. Here’s the deal, my dad has totally been hogging the computer…something about drawing or supporting his family or something. I don’t know why it takes so much more to support me, I only weigh like 12 pounds.

Let me catch everyone up on what’s been going on. 1st I took my first road trip…it was 2 HOURS!!! it was SOOOO long. I got to go see my grandparents down south. I don’t know how far south it was because I haven’t seen a map yet. All I know is it seemed to take forever so i had to cry to let my parents know how much I hated it. That was a week ago.

2nd I’ve been watching the NHL playoffs with my dad. I know this is fun because he shouts and screams almost as loud as me when I need a diaper change. My dad roots for this team called the Red Wings and since they had the best record in the league the year I was born they may as well be my favorite too.

Lastly I’d just like to say what a great job my mom is doing. I keep trying to throw her for loops with my “schedule” but let’s face it, she’s been around longer than me and probably knows the tricks. She takes me grocery shopping sometimes…that’s fun because there’s a bunch of bright lights and things beeping.

Anyway, I think I’m going to take a nap now…my fingers aren’t that big yet and typing is a lot more difficult for an 82 day old than you may think.

Tyler - Glad you finally wrestled a little ‘puter time away from ol’ Dad. Grumpa & Grandma E. have missed your blogs. You’ll learn to enjoy those road trips - your Dad did. He just slept a lot while riding. And hey, how ’bout those Red Wings….they’re pretty good, huh?

I screamed the entire 3 hours from Traverse City to Kalamazoo my first road trip. I was happy once they took me out.

Keep throwing them for a loop, if you keep her tired she’ll be more apt to hand you a cookie instead of your biter biscuit.

Hi Tyler, I have to tell you how much Poppy and I enjoyed having you visit us. You are so cute and so much fun. We both wish we could see you every day. I know the trip seemed like a long one, but wait until the end of next month when you go to see Grumpa and Grandma E. That will really seem like a long trip. It will be so worth it though. I know you will have a fun time and Grumpa and Grandma E. will be so excited to get to see you and spend time with you. I love you so much and can’t wait to see you again. Love Nana
